Screen Enclosure Builder in Riverside, Jacksonville, FL
Riverside screen rooms and enclosures, planned in AutoCAD with the roof, the floor and the doors.
Most people want two things from a screen enclosure: keep the bugs out and keep the view. We design enclosures for Riverside homes with our expanded-view option and doors where you actually walk, so the screen disappears and the yard stays in the picture. Riverside's bungalows and two-story homes often have deep porches already, so a backyard room is designed to look like it belongs to the same house.

Riverside Screen Room Choices
Screen rooms with a solid roof. A roofed screen room keeps rain off the furniture and still lets the breeze through.
Doors where you walk. Door placement follows your path from the house to the yard and the grill.
Expanded-view upgrade. Cleaner frame lines so the yard reads like a picture window.
Hot tub inside the screen. Soak without the bugs, with a pad or build-up planned in.
Standard insect screen offers only partial sun protection: one manufacturer rates common charcoal pool-and-patio mesh at up to about 44% sun and UV blockage.
Riverside Planning Notes for Your Screen Enclosure
Near Five Points and the river, Riverside lots are compact, so the design has to fit the space without crowding the house. A compact yard can still hold a screened room if the footprint is drawn carefully from the survey.
Fans inside a screened room keep the air moving on still evenings, so we plan the mounting points before the roof goes on. Before we draw a screen enclosure in Riverside, we check where the doors should go for daily traffic, which frame color suits the house and where fans and lights can be mounted.
Tighter solar screen fabrics block far more: manufacturer specs rate them at roughly 68% UV blockage and up to 90% of the sun's heat, depending on the weave.
HOA, Historic Review and Permits in Riverside
In Riverside, the City's historic review takes the place of an HOA board for most homes. We prepare the Certificate of Appropriateness application with scaled drawings and 3D renderings. Boards usually look at screen and frame colors, the enclosure's height and how it meets the roof. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
Riverside permits come from the City of Jacksonville once the historic review is complete. Every permitted structure gets its necessary engineered documents.
