Outdoor Fireplace Options
Linear gas fireplaces. A long, low flame with a clean modern look, built into a stone or brick wall. Popular inside gazebos and screen rooms.
Wood-burning stone fireplaces. A tall, traditional fireplace that anchors an open patio or sits under a pergola.
Inside a screen room or gazebo. We plan the fireplace together with the structure, so the fireplace and the room work as one design.

Our Design-Build Process
Design session with Amany. Your project starts at our Jacksonville design studio, where you sit down with founder Amany Youssef and watch your fireplace take shape live on screen in AutoCAD.
Free AutoCAD design and a custom quote. You get to-scale 3D renderings and a fully itemized custom quote within 24 hours of your consultation, so you know exactly what you're getting.
In-home design visit. Amany comes to your home for an in-person walkthrough, so we look at the project together where you're most comfortable, finalize the details and choose your colors and finishes.
Engineering, HOA and permits handled. We get the necessary engineered documents for every permitted structure, prepare your HOA/ARB package and pull the permits.
Build. We can start most projects within two to four weeks. Our crews follow a build process we've refined over many projects, and you get daily updates.
The AY Advantage. You hold back the final 5% for seven days after completion, so we can take care of any touch-ups before you sign off.
Financing is available through Synchrony Bank, including 18 months of no-interest financing, and we have other financing options as well.

Permits and HOA approval
A gas fireplace needs gas work by a licensed gas contractor, and a fireplace built into a gazebo, screen room or extension is part of a permitted structure. Most HOAs require architectural approval before work starts. We prepare your HOA/ARB package with a scaled site plan, elevations, materials and 3D renderings, and we pull the permits and schedule the inspections. Every permitted structure gets its necessary engineered documents.

Gas or wood-burning: which is better outdoors? It depends on how you'll use it. A gas fireplace turns on with a switch and works well inside screen rooms and gazebos. A wood-burning fireplace gives a real crackling fire and suits an open patio or pergola. We'll show you both in AutoCAD during your design session.
Can you build a fireplace inside a screen room or gazebo? Yes. We've built linear fireplaces inside screen rooms and under cedar gazebos. We design the fireplace and the structure together, and the gas work is done by our licensed gas partner.
What can go around the fireplace? Seating walls, privacy walls, columns, benches and built-in lighting. Some clients add a TV wall or an outdoor kitchen nearby.
