Outdoor Electrical Contractor in St. Augustine, FL
Power for St. Augustine outdoor living, designed before anything is built.
When we coordinate the structure and the electrical together, with our licensed electrical partner, the wiring is planned before the roof and pavers go on. We handle the electrical scope for St. Augustine outdoor projects with our licensed electrical partner. St. Augustine homes run from salt-air lots on Vilano Beach and Anastasia Island to wooded preserve and pond lots in the newer communities west of town.

Electrical We Plan in St. Augustine Backyards
- Outdoor outlets. Outlets placed where you'll use them, protected for wet locations.
- Speakers. Wiring for outdoor speakers in the ceiling.
- Switches and zones. Controls grouped so each area works on its own.
- Planned in AutoCAD. Every fixture and outlet shown before work starts.
Fans cool people, not rooms: the breeze creates a wind-chill effect, according to ENERGY STAR.
Before We Draw Your St. Augustine Outdoor Electrical Project
Pond and preserve lots are common in St. Augustine's master-planned communities, so many designs frame the view instead of closing it in. Near water, every outdoor circuit and outlet is planned with protection for wet locations.
Every outdoor outlet is planned for wet locations, and switches are grouped so each area works on its own. Before we draw an outdoor electrical project in St. Augustine, we check what the kitchen and hot tub need, how switches are grouped and where the TV and speakers go. We handle the electrical side with our licensed electrical partner, so it's planned and permitted with the rest of the build.
DarkSky International recommends aiming outdoor lights downward with shielding, using timers or motion sensors, and choosing warmer colors where possible.
Approvals and Permits in St. Augustine
Whether a St. Augustine project goes to an HOA board, the City's historic review or neither depends on the address, so we sort that out before we draw anything. Electrical work itself is rarely an HOA question, but the fans, lights and structures it serves often are. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
Two offices permit St. Augustine homes: the City inside its limits and St. Johns County outside them. We pull the right permit for your address and schedule the inspections. New circuits are permitted electrical work, and we pull the electrical permit with the rest of your project.
