Outdoor Ceiling Fan & Heater Installation in Nocatee, FL
Ceiling fans and patio heaters for Nocatee covered patios, gazebos and pergolas: comfort in July and January.
A fan makes a covered patio bearable in a Northeast Florida summer, and a heater keeps it usable on a cool January evening. AY Luxury Designs plans and installs outdoor ceiling fans and patio heaters for homeowners in Nocatee, placed in the ceiling layout of the gazebo, A-frame or patio extension we design, and wired with our licensed electrical partner.

Planning Your Fan And Heater Layout for a Nocatee Home
- Check what your neighborhood reviews. Many Nocatee associations review exterior lighting and fixtures, so we include them in your package.
- Wire it before the ceiling closes. Circuits, boxes and supports are planned in the design, so nothing has to be cut in later.
- Fixtures that suit the house. We pick finishes and placement that match your home's style and keep light off the neighbors.
- Permitted with the build. Electrical work is permitted and inspected with the rest of your project.
UF/IFAS notes that warm-white LEDs below about 3600K are harder for insects to see, while cooler-white bulbs attract more bugs.
Electrical Planned With Your Project
Electrical planned with the build. We handle the electrical side of your outdoor project with our licensed electrical partner, so it's planned and permitted with the rest of the build. Gas and plumbing work is always done by our licensed trade partners.
Outdoor Fans & Heaters in Nocatee: What's Different
Fans and heaters in Nocatee. Ceiling fans are almost a requirement for a Nocatee lanai in July, and heaters make winter evenings comfortable. We plan both into the ceiling during the design so the wiring and supports are in place before the ceiling goes up.
Permits. Most of Nocatee is in St. Johns County, which issues the building permit, usually after a clearance sheet, and automatically notifies registered architectural review associations. Duval-side neighborhoods such as Brookwood are permitted by the City of Jacksonville. A Notice of Commencement is required for most permitted projects. See our St. Johns County permit guide.
Fans cool people, not rooms: the breeze creates a wind-chill effect, according to ENERGY STAR.

Our Work in Nocatee
Screened A-frame gazebo with stone fireplace on a raised patio, Cypress Trails (Nocatee) A screened A-frame cedar gazebo that ties into the home's existing A-frame lanai so cleanly it looks original to the house. Because the yard drops off sharply, the patio is built up on a raised wall-block base. Inside, exposed rafters give it a cabin feel over a tongue-and-groove ceiling with lights and a ceiling fan, and the focal point is a gas fireplace clad in hand-laid stone with a raised hearth, a stone mantel and a TV above. The same pavers and ceiling finish continue across the existing lanai so the old and new spaces read as one.
Cedar roof extension tied into the house with an outdoor kitchen, Seabrook (Nocatee) A roof extension tied into the house with a cedar ceiling and a ceiling fan, sheltering an outdoor kitchen on a new lanai floor.
