Hot Tub Electrical Hookup in Jacksonville, FL

Hot tub electrical for Northeast Florida, planned with the pad, the build-up and the structure around it.

A hot tub needs its own circuit and a disconnect in the right place, and the work is easiest when it's planned with the pad and surround. AY Luxury Designs handles hot tub electrical for homeowners in Jacksonville and across Northeast Florida, with our licensed electrical partner, together with hot tub pads and stone build-ups, so the spa is ready when it's set.

Hot Tub Electrical: Your Options

  • Its own circuit. Planned from your panel to the spa location.
  • Underground runs. Under Registered Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor license RU11066663 when the spa sits out in the yard.
  • With the build-up. Coordinated with the pad and stone surround.
  • Lighting nearby. Step lights and accent lights around the spa.

Electrical Planned With Your Project

Electrical planned with the build. We handle the electrical side of your outdoor project with our licensed electrical partner, so it's planned and permitted with the rest of the build. Gas and plumbing work is always done by our licensed trade partners.

The CPSC and CDC advise keeping hot tub water at 104°F or below.

Permits and HOA approval

Hot tub circuits are permitted electrical work. We pull the permit and schedule the inspection with the rest of your project.

The National Electrical Code requires GFCI protection for outlets that supply packaged hot tubs, unless the tub is listed with built-in GFCI protection, according to NEC training guidance.
