Gazebo Builder in Crosswinds (Nocatee)
Gazebos for Crosswinds homes, out in the yard or attached to the house.
Some Crosswinds homeowners want a gazebo out by the fire pit; others want one tied into the back of the house. We design both, with the columns, ceiling and roofing chosen to suit your home. A gazebo can stand on its own in the yard or attach to the house, and its roof can be flat, shed-style or an A-frame.

Gazebo Options in Crosswinds
Privacy panels. Panels on one side for privacy from the neighbors.
Kitchen underneath. A gazebo is one of the best places for an outdoor kitchen.
Fireplace or TV wall. A focal point inside the gazebo.
Inside a screen enclosure. A gazebo wrapped in screen for bug-free evenings.
Florida's summer thunderstorms are a reason to know the CDC's rule: open structures like gazebos and porches don't protect you from lightning, so go indoors when thunder roars.
Before We Draw Your Crosswinds Gazebo
Crosswinds mixes single-family homes and villas, and villas can have extra limits from shared walls or smaller yards. New homes in Crosswinds start with bare backyards, which makes it easy to plan the whole space at once and build it in phases. On a newer home, matching the builder's roofing and trim makes a new roof look like it came with the house.
A wood ceiling with a fan and lights is what turns a gazebo into a room. Before we draw a gazebo in Crosswinds, we check where the gazebo sits on the lot, whether it ties into the house or stands alone and where fans and lights mount.
A roof overhead blocks direct sun, but some UV still bounces in from bright surfaces like dry sand or concrete, the Skin Cancer Foundation notes.
Approvals and Permits in Crosswinds
In Crosswinds, villas and single-family homes can have different limits, so we check your home type and the current guidelines first. Boards usually ask where the gazebo sits on the lot, how tall it is, and whether the roofing and trim match the house. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
In Crosswinds, permits come from St. Johns County. We file the clearance sheet and the permit application, record the Notice of Commencement the county requires for most permitted projects, and schedule the inspections. Every permitted structure gets its necessary engineered documents.
