Gas fire pits. Instant flame with a switch. Gas work is done by our licensed gas partner.
Wood-burning fire pits. A real wood fire in a built-in stone ring.
Fire bowls and linear fire features. A gas fire bowl or a linear fire feature for a modern look.
Seating around it. Benches, seating walls and columns, placed for comfort around the flame.
The patio. Pavers, travertine or marble, with steps and retaining walls where the yard slopes.

Our Design-Build Process
Design session with Amany. Your project starts at our Jacksonville design studio, where you sit down with founder Amany Youssef and watch your fire pit area take shape live on screen in AutoCAD.
Free AutoCAD design and a custom quote. You get to-scale 3D renderings and a fully itemized custom quote within 24 hours of your consultation, so you know exactly what you're getting.
Engineering, HOA and permits handled. We get the necessary engineered documents for every permitted structure, prepare your HOA/ARB package and pull the permits.
Build. We can start most projects within two to four weeks. Our crews follow a build process we've refined over many projects, and you get daily updates.
The AY Advantage. You hold back the final 5% for seven days after completion, so we can take care of any touch-ups before you sign off.
Financing is available through Synchrony Bank, including 18 months of no-interest financing, and we have other financing options as well.

Permits and HOA approval
Gas fire pits need gas work by a licensed gas contractor, which is permitted. Most HOAs also want to approve a new patio and fire pit before work starts. We prepare your HOA/ARB package with a scaled site plan, materials and 3D renderings, and we handle the permits and inspections.

How much does a fire pit installation cost? Every project gets a custom quote with an in-person AutoCAD design, and every AY Luxury Designs project has a $10,000 minimum. What drives the cost of a fire pit installation: gas or wood-burning; the size; the patio around it; seating and lighting; gas work and permits; and site work on sloped yards. You get a fully itemized quote within 24 hours of your design consultation.
Should I choose a gas or wood-burning fire pit? A gas fire pit lights with a switch, has no smoke or ash and suits patios close to the house. A wood-burning fire pit gives a real wood fire and works well in an open part of the yard. We design both.
Can you build seating around the fire pit? Yes. Most of our fire pits are built with benches, seating walls and columns, with lights set into the stone.
Can a fire pit go on a sloped yard? Yes. We've set fire pit areas below the main patio, with walkways, steps and retaining walls that follow the yard.
Do I need a permit or HOA approval? Gas work is permitted and done by our licensed gas partner, and most HOAs want to approve a new patio and fire pit first. We prepare the HOA/ARB package and handle the permits.
