3D Backyard Design in Fernandina Beach, FL
Fernandina Beach backyards planned in AutoCAD, so the quote matches what you saw.
It's hard to picture a gazebo from a sketch or a paver color from a sample. Every AY Luxury Designs project for Fernandina Beach homeowners starts with a design session at our Jacksonville studio, where you watch your backyard come together on screen in AutoCAD with founder Amany Youssef.

Designing a Fernandina Beach Backyard on Screen
Structures. Pergolas, A-frame and attached gazebos, pavilions, lanai and patio extensions, and screen enclosures.
Furniture fit. Check that your table, grill and seating fit before anything is ordered.
Night views. See the lighting plan after dark.
Roofline match. See how a new roof ties into your house.
UF/IFAS lists a tree, an umbrella or a pergola as ways to get daytime shade in an outdoor living space.
What Shapes a 3D backyard design in Fernandina Beach
On the mainland side of Fernandina Beach, newer communities have open backyards and builder patios that are ready to be extended. Salt air, marsh views and mature trees shape materials and placement across Fernandina Beach. Near the ocean, wind and salt air are the first design question, so the structure is designed for the exposure and finished for the salt.
Your 3D renderings do double duty: they guide the build and they strengthen the HOA package. Before we draw a 3D backyard design in Fernandina Beach, we check how the roofline ties in, where the sun sits in the afternoon and how furniture fits.
When designing an outdoor living space, UF/IFAS suggests planning power for cooking and lighting early.
Approvals and Permits in Fernandina Beach
In Fernandina Beach, the review depends on the address: the Historic District Council for Downtown and Old Town, or a community review board in neighborhoods like Amelia Walk and Amelia National. A 3D rendering shows a review board exactly what will be built, which often answers questions before they're asked. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
Permits in Fernandina Beach depend on whether your home is in the city or the county, and historic-district homes add the Council's review first.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a minimum budget for a 3D backyard design in Fernandina Beach?Yes. Every AY Luxury Designs project has a $10,000 minimum. Beyond that, the cost depends on what you're building; materials and finishes; electrical; HOA requirements; and engineering and permits, and your fully itemized custom quote comes within 24 hours of your consultation.
Do the 3D renderings help with my HOA?Yes. Your 3D renderings go into the HOA/ARB package with the site plan, elevations and materials.
Can you design the whole backyard and build it in phases?Yes. Many families design everything at once and build it in stages.
Is Old Town the same as the downtown historic district? No. Old Town Fernandina is a separate historic district north of downtown. Exterior work in either district goes through the City's historic review first.
Will my Fernandina Beach HOA review a new backyard project?Usually, yes. Fernandina Beach projects go to an HOA board, the Historic District Council or neither, depending on where the home is. We check first. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
