Before We Draw Your Del Webb Nocatee Outdoor Fireplace

Many Del Webb Nocatee homesites back up to protected preserve, so a design that keeps the view open is often the goal. Del Webb Nocatee neighbors entertain often, so outdoor kitchens and screened rooms are popular here. New-build yards often need a patio extension before a fire feature fits, so we design them together.

Matching the finish to the house, or to the column wraps, makes the fireplace look like it was always there. Before we draw an outdoor fireplace in Del Webb Nocatee, we check where the chimney or firebox can sit, gas or wood-burning and whether a TV goes above.

Approvals and Permits in Del Webb Nocatee

In Del Webb Nocatee, the community's review looks at materials, colors and placement, and the Nocatee master rules apply too. For an outdoor fireplace, review boards usually want the height, the finish and the location on the lot. Confirm current guidelines with your association.

Building permits for Del Webb Nocatee homes go through St. Johns County, and registered associations are notified automatically when exterior work is filed, so your HOA is part of the process from the start. Every permitted structure gets its necessary engineered documents.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an outdoor fireplace cost in Del Webb Nocatee? It depends on the design, so there's no standard price. The main cost drivers are mantel, hearth and TV; the structure around it; the size and style; finish; and permits. Every AY Luxury Designs project has a $10,000 minimum, and you get a fully itemized custom quote within 24 hours of your consultation.

Can you add seating walls beside the fireplace?Yes. Seating walls on each side give the fireplace presence and add places to sit.

Is Del Webb Nocatee the same as Del Webb Ponte Vedra? No. They're two separate 55-and-over communities inside Nocatee, each with its own clubhouse and association.

Does an outdoor fireplace in Del Webb Nocatee go to the HOA?Yes. Del Webb Nocatee reviews exterior changes through its own association, separate from Del Webb Ponte Vedra's. We prepare what the board asks for, and the decision is the board's, so confirm current guidelines with your association.
