Outdoor Ceiling Fan & Heater Installation in Twenty Mile
Comfort in July and January: fans and heaters for Twenty Mile outdoor rooms.
Fans and heaters are small details that change how often you sit outside. We design them into Twenty Mile outdoor rooms from the start, with our licensed electrical partner.

Twenty Mile Outdoor Comfort Ideas
Heaters in the headers. Mounted so they warm the seating area.
In a screen room. Fans in a screened room keep the air moving when the screens are closed.
Added to an existing cover. Fans or heaters added to what you already have.
Wiring hidden. Runs planned inside the structure.
Ceiling fans make a covered lanai more comfortable through a wind-chill effect, and ENERGY STAR notes they cool people, not rooms, so they're best switched off when no one is outside.
Before We Draw Your Twenty Mile Fan and Heater Layout
Shade, bug-free screened space and room for kids to play are the most common requests in Twenty Mile. Twenty Mile lots are efficient, so privacy walls, landscaping and placement inside the setbacks matter. A newer home's panel often has room for outdoor circuits, which makes adding power simpler.
Switches by the back door save a lot of walking. We plan controls where you'll actually reach them. Before we draw a fan and heater layout in Twenty Mile, we check how far the panel is, the ceiling or beam each fixture mounts to and where switches belong. The wiring is handled with our licensed electrical partner and inspected with the rest of the project.
UF/IFAS notes that warm-white LEDs below about 3600K are harder for insects to see, while cooler-white bulbs attract more bugs.
Approvals and Permits in Twenty Mile
Twenty Mile's neighborhoods, like The Colony and The Crossing, each have an association, so the package is built for yours. Fans and heaters rarely need their own HOA review, but the structure they hang in usually does. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
St. Johns County issues the building permit in Twenty Mile. Expect a clearance step first, an automatic notice to registered architectural review associations, and a recorded Notice of Commencement for most permitted projects.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the price of a fan and heater layout in Twenty Mile set?We price each project from its AutoCAD design. The number of fans and heaters; the structure they mount to; circuits and controls; distance from the panel; and permits all move the number. Every AY Luxury Designs project has a $10,000 minimum, and the itemized quote arrives within 24 hours of your consultation.
Can you add heaters to my existing covered patio?Often, yes. We look at the structure and the power during the in-home design visit and tell you what works.
How many fans does a patio need?It depends on the size and shape of the space. We place fans over the seating in the AutoCAD design.
Have you built in Twenty Mile?Yes. In Twenty Mile we built a gazebo with a fireplace and an outdoor kitchen inside a screen enclosure, with new pavers, seating walls and lighting.
Does outdoor lighting or electrical work in Twenty Mile go to the HOA?Yes, it does. Each Twenty Mile neighborhood reviews exterior changes through its own association, on top of the Nocatee master rules. We put the package together and handle the submittal with you. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
