Before We Draw Your Twenty Mile Outdoor Electrical Project
Twenty Mile is a collection of Nocatee neighborhoods, including The Colony and The Crossing at Twenty Mile, near Twenty Mile Park. Twenty Mile lots are efficient, so privacy walls, landscaping and placement inside the setbacks matter. In a small yard, every outlet and switch location is chosen so nothing is in the way.
Every outdoor outlet is planned for wet locations, and switches are grouped so each area works on its own. Before we draw an outdoor electrical project in Twenty Mile, we check how much room is left in the panel, the route for underground runs and where the TV and speakers go. We plan every circuit in the design and handle the work with our licensed electrical partner.
DarkSky International recommends aiming outdoor lights downward with shielding, using timers or motion sensors, and choosing warmer colors where possible.
Approvals and Permits in Twenty Mile
In Twenty Mile, Nocatee's published guidelines ask owners to get written approval before installation, and each neighborhood adds its own. Electrical work itself is rarely an HOA question, but the fans, lights and structures it serves often are. Confirm current guidelines with your association.
Building permits for Twenty Mile homes go through St. Johns County, and registered associations are notified automatically when exterior work is filed, so your HOA is part of the process from the start.
